Description
The Triton TR140 strainer ref. R303604 is an original Pentair spare part for Triton TR140 sand filters with a diameter of 910 mm manufactured since 2002. With a length of 28.6 cm and an external diameter of approximately 2.8–3.4 cm depending on the model, it ensures optimal filtration by distributing water evenly during the filtration and return cycles.
It attaches to the lower diffuser with a simple quarter-turn system, making it easy to replace without special tools. Made of durable material, it guarantees durability and watertightness, while preventing internal blockages.

- Recommended assembly:
- Turn off the filtration system and drain the water from the filter.
- Remove the lower diffuser.
- Remove the old strainer, insert the new one (R303604) and clip it into place with a quarter turn.
- Refit the diffuser and restore pressure.
Maintenance tips
- Check and clean the strainer every time you backwash or at least once a season.
- Replace it as soon as there are signs of wear, cracks or blockages to maintain filtration quality.
